FY 25 Septal Occluder - Tamp Cath Lab

DESCRIPTION: The Cardiac Catheterization Lab - Cardiology Department t is requesting to have (2) sizes of the Cardioform Septal Occluders, from Gore Medical (CARDIOFORM SEPTAL OCCLUDER 25MM & 30MM) The Cardiology Department is located at James A Haley Veterans Hospital, 13000 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL 33612 INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK: Gore Medical is a permanently implanted device indicated for the percutaneous, transcatheter closure of 1. Ostium secundum atrial septal defects (ASDs) 2. Patent foramen ovale (PFO) to reduce the risk of recurrent ischemic stroke in patients, predominantly between the ages of 18 and 60 years, who have had a cryptogenic stroke due to a presumed paradoxical embolism, as determined by a neurologist and cardiologist following an evaluation to exclude known causes of ischemic stroke. Supplies must have the physical characteristics to enable the government to perform the capabilities.

DATA: The Cardioform Septal Occluders are used to correct ostium secundum atrial septal defects (ASDs) through percutaneous transcatheter closing.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. The proposed NAICS 339112 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of 1000 employees.
