Reimagine Well Extended Reality Services

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, intends to award a sole source contract with Wellovate, LLC, to provide Extended Virtual Reality Services for the Central VA Veterans Health Care Systems IDEAS Center for Women Veterans with a history of sexual trauma in Richmond, VA. Wellovate has created a customized, survey-informed, personalized, immersive experiences that helps patients better tolerate gynecology exams and procedures by helping to reduce anxiety.

This involves providing an easily accessible solution available on any internet enabled device, first utilized at home, and then continuing into the clinical setting. This is a continuation of the services that have already been provided and expansion of the current scope of services.

The Wellovate team are currently the only team that can provide this service as other companies would not have access to the proprietary work that has already been done in the base of the contract and that would need to be redone to execute. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) soliciting from a single source. Please note, this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.

Solicitation documents are not available, and telephone requests will not be accepted. Responses received by 12:00 pm EST on 3 April 2025 will be considered by the Government. However, the Government determination not to compete the proposed acquisition, based upon responses of this notice, is solely within Government discretion.
