NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT USING OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION Department of Veterans Affairs The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a succeeding lease using other than full and open competition for the VA National Center Lease, an existing lease, located in Durham, NC Carolina. The current lease is expiring September 30, 2024. Requirement State:

11,120 Space Type: Clinical All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Occupancy, the space is required on or before October 1, 2024. Term, lease term will be 10 years; 5-year firm fixed price with additional 5 one - year soft terms.

The Department of Veterans Affairs is interested in considering alternative space if economically advantageous; otherwise, the department of Veteran Affairs intends to pursue a sole source lease acquisition with the current Lessor located at 3022 Croasdaile Drive, Durham, NC 27705. The Department of Veterans Affairs will consider the cost of moving, tenant improvements, etc., when deciding whether the VA National Center of Health should relocate.
