INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract to Roche Diagnostic Corp, 9115 Hague Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250 for the following services: Full Service and Preventive Maintenance on Roche Cobas X 480 (SN: 237A) and Roche Cobas Z 480 (SN: 53233) located in Laboratory department at the Brooklyn VA Medical Center.

This Full-Service contract is to include all necessary labor, full service, maintenance, tools, equipment, transportation and parts (excluding non-VENDOR parts) required to perform repair and Preventive Maintenance (PM) on listed equipment. All equipment shall be maintained in proper operating condition as specified by the manufacturer.

Vendor must have manufacturer certification to service and maintain the devices and have access to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) parts, manuals and schematics to perform the service. This proposed contract action is for a service in which the Government intends to award a One (1) Year base firm fixed-price contract, plus (4) option years at the option of the Government.

The authority for this action is FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811210 with a size standard of $30 million. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement.

The Government will consider responses received by 4:00 pm Eastern on September 11, 2024. Inquiries will only be accepted via email to Andres.cepeda@va.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
