CCure Security Maintenance and Support Services Intent to Sole Source

The VAMC West Haven & Newington CT intends to award on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 13. This requirement will include the proprietary Security systems, located at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System West Haven & Newington Campus, known as the C-CURE 9000. It is the only authorized software programing services that is provided by JCI factory certified technicians.

Salient Characteristics VA will need to use an authorized vendor for warranty characteristics to properly maintain critical security systems, installed software, and physical access devices. C-CURE 9000 Software can only be accessed tested and programmed by an authorized dealer.

Johnson Controls INC (JCI) is the only authorized nationally recognized vendor/dealer that supports manufacture s software and integration of SOFTWARE HOUSE for C-CURE 9000. It is the only authorized software programing services that is provided by JCI factory certified technicians. This Special Notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals.

Parties may identify their interest, accompanied by supporting literature, to the Contracting Officer no later than February 21st 2025, Responses should be sent to Nathan.Langone@va.gov. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
