$35,431.00 obligated so far on USAspending

Description

As published on SAM.gov.

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is issuing a pre-solicitation notice to noncompetitively procure renewal of GoldSim Pro with Radionuclide Transport Module Software Upgrades and Maintenance Support Licenses with GoldSim Technology Group LLC; 22500 SE 64th Place, Suite 240; Issaquah, Washington 98027-8111. The NRC requires the brand name software and has confirmed that GoldSim does not have resellers.

This proprietary software has a full range of requirements for performing highly flexible performance assessment modeling of complex decommissioning sites and proposed high-level waste repository sites. The GoldSim developed software has a model file format that is proprietary and can only be viewed, executed, and edited using the appropriate GoldSim software.

The NRC has no other means of obtaining this software because GoldSim Technology Group, LLC, does not allow any other distributor to provide the upgrade and/or maintenance to their propriety software. This noncompetitive acquisition is conducted under the authority of FAR 6.103-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements
