Emergency replacement of components within the grit facilities throughout the South Bay International Wastewater Treatment Plant (SBIWTP).

The primary goal of this acquisition is to replace 3 Grit Classifiers, 6 Grit Gallery Pumps, 6 Grit Pump VFDs, 2 Primary Channel Air Blowers, and 2 Grit Air Blowers. There is also a requirement to conduct a Short Circuit Arc Flash Study. All components are past its life remaining operations, which could lead to partially treated sewage not meeting permit standards discharged through ocean outfall, leading to permit violations. The rehabilitation and replacements are required to maintain safe and reliable operations of SBIWTP.
