Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Fiber Optic Cable Repair - USBP Ajo AZ

Notice of Intent to award a sole source requirement for the repair/replacement of fiber-optic communications cable, to TABLE TOP TELEPHONE CO INC (UEI: KBPMYKG8H1). This proposed contract action is for repair/digging/installation services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 – Only One Responsible Source.

The US Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Tucson Sector, Ajo area of operations has a requirement to immediately repair fiber-optic communications cable which was damaged by the Government. The cable is vital for several local, state, and federal communications systems and requirements for repair and replacement are proprietary to the vendor effecting the repairs. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. The point of contact for this action is Frank S.
