The US Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Tucson Sector, Ajo area of operations has a requirement to immediately repair fiber-optic communications cable which was damaged by the Government. The cable is vital for several local, state, and federal communications systems and requirements for repair and replacement are proprietary to the vendor effecting the repairs. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. The point of contact for this action is Frank S. Duarte, Contracting Officer (CO), frank.s.duarte@dhs.gov. The Government shall not be responsible for costs for any action taken in response to this announcement. Only email questions accepted.
