Access to the Metropolitan Area Regional Radio System-Kansas City, MO 64106

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs (ICE) Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ) Irving, TX 75063, intends to solicit from a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) with City of Kansas City for access to the Metropolitan Area Regional Radio System (MARRS) public safety radio network service. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

The Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available based on the capabilities of the MARRS, which was established as a region-wide public safety radio network, operating under shared standards, allowing for communications interoperability between contracted entities. This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request for quotation.
