Purchase a Travel Trailer for Big Cypress National

FY24 Big Cypress National Preserve The National Park Service, Southeast Region, West Major Acquisition Buying Office, hereby issues a combined synopsis/solicitation for a requirement for Big Cypress National Preserve Purchase one portable travel trailer with two separate sleeping areas and one full bathroom. Providing temporary field housing for partners (non-profit/non-government organization staff, graduate students, and other outside personnel that work on BICY resources) is a limiting factor for the wildlife program.

Trailer Mandatory Specifications: 1 kitchen with: Stove/Range Sink Microwave Refrigerator Table with seating 1 bathroom with: Lockable door Sink Toilet Shower 2 separate sleeping areas with: At least 1 lockable door in between the sleeping areas At least 1 actual bed in each area (not including sofa beds or convertible beds) Storage in each sleeping area Sleeping areas must be located on opposite ends of the trailer.

This contract will include any warning labels, auditory alarms, lighting, frame, braking performance, electrical and cooling system, and any other safety and performance standard required in compliance with National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and any other applicable regulations. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 336214. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions.

This Acquisition shall result in award of a firm fixed price contract. Evaluation factors: The selection will be made by evaluating proposals based on cost, requirement adherence, and past relevant experience. Bidders must be able to provide references of applicable experience to receive the award. Bids must arrive by email to Dallas_Harper-Staub@nps.gov by the closing date noted in this solicitation.
