Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Power Generation and Microgrid project at Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, Alabama

SPECIAL NOTICE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District (USACE) will be soliciting proposals for the construction of the Power Generation and Microgrid project at Anniston Army Depot in Anniston, Alabama. As part of the construction contract solicitation, the USACE intends to include the following sole source requirements: Caterpillar (CAT)

Model G3520: The contract solicitation will include a sole-source brand name requirement for four (4) packaged Natural Gas Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engine (RICE) Generators; CAT Model G3520, 2.5 MW, 12.47 kV, continuous duty power, within weatherproof and sound attenuating enclosures.

Fire Lite Model ES-50X: The contract solicitation will include a sole-source brand name requirement for the model ES-50X addressable fire alarm control panel manufactured by Fire Lite.

Eaton Medium Voltage Switchgear: The contract solicitation will include a sole-source brand requirement for the model Eaton Medium Voltage Switchgear manufactured by Eaton.

SEL Relay and Controller manufactured by Schweitzer Engineering Laborites (SEL): The contract solicitation will include a sole source brand requirement for the model SEL Relay and Controller manufactured by Schweitzer Engineering Laborites (SEL). *This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice.

All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirement described herein. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 2:00 PM ET on August 09 2024 to Jessica.M.Stone@usace.army.mil.
