As part of the construction contract solicitation, the USACE intends to include the following sole source requirements: Caterpillar (CAT) Model G3520: The contract solicitation will include a sole-source brand name requirement for four (4) packaged Natural Gas Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engine (RICE) Generators; CAT Model G3520, 2.5 MW, 12.47 kV, continuous duty power, within weatherproof and sound attenuating enclosures. Fire Lite Model ES-50X: The contract solicitation will include a sole-source brand name requirement for the model ES-50X addressable fire alarm control panel manufactured by Fire Lite. Eaton Medium Voltage Switchgear: The contract solicitation will include a sole-source brand requirement for the model Eaton Medium Voltage Switchgear manufactured by Eaton. SEL Relay and Controller manufactured by Schweitzer Engineering Laborites (SEL): The contract solicitation will include a sole source brand requirement for the model SEL Relay and Controller manufactured by Schweitzer Engineering Laborites (SEL). *This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice.
