This solicitation is being issued under the authority of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation is a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The Polymers Processing Group (PPG) in the Material Measurement Laboratory of the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) performs state-of-the-art in situ studies of electrochemically functional thin films.

Essential to the success of these studies are simultaneous, broad-band, spectroscopy measurements enabled by diode array spectroscopy systems integrated into custom electrochemical apparatus. Responsible quoters shall provide pricing for the following brand name electrophysiological-style upright microscope. All equipment must be new.
