Description
As published on SAM.gov.
This solicitation and resultant contract require the Contractor to provide all supplies and services specified in the Schedule.
The components were installed as a new system in 2003 and have been in operation since 2004. In addition to the software operating system, which is obsolete, mechanical components of many valves and solenoids have become worn over time due to constant operation since 2004. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to familiarize themselves with the refrigeration system, assess the full type and number of valves to be replaced, procure the necessary components, install them, and test functionality.
Assessments by various technicians have located and identified severely failing valves, which are listed in the Schedule. Valves are various in type and installation, and some minor corrections will be required from the Contractor to rectify or re-plumb systems that were previously installed incorrectly, most notably thermosyphon relief valves. All valve and solenoid replacements shall be checked for seal, operation, and survey according to industry standards.
NOTE: This solicitation has been amended to be solicited unrestricted.
NOTE 2: SF-30 for amendment 0001 was just uploaded due to a system error at time of original amendment posting.
