Intent to Sole Source Hydroseeders and Trailer Hubmodlt-Toiyabe National Forest

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The US Forest Service hereby announces its intent to enter into a sole source award with Turbo Technologies, Inc. 1500 FIRST AVENUE BEAVER FALLS, PA 15010 This notice is not a request for quote, but rather a notice of intent to conduct a sole source procurement in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(i); only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization).

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333111, with a size standard of 1,250 employees. Turbo Technologies, Inc. is the only contractor that can provide the HS-IOO 100 Gallon skid Hydroseeder with Honda engine and 2" KOSHIN Pump, hose holders, 100' 1 1/4" hose, gun w/3 nozzles and HS-500XPWP - trailered 500 gallon- hydroseeder. 19 HP Kohler Eng, electric start,4" MIG 40 pump, hose holders, 100' 1 1/4" hose, gun with 3 nozzles.

Both of these models are jet agitated and meant to be used with 100% paper based hydroseeding mulch. Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to Contracting Opportunities SAM.gov. Interested parties may identify their interests and capabilities by responding to this requirement by the due date listed on this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided. This procurement is subject to prohibitions in VAAR 852.212-71 Gray Market Items and in 852.212-72 Gray Market and Counterfeit Items.
