Special Notice - FY 24 Crash Fire MX

Synopsis: The 22nd Contracting Squadron – McConnell AFB, KS, 67221 on behalf of the 22nd Air Refueling Wing intends to award a firm fixed price contract under FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) to only one responsible source, Kirila Fire Training Facilities Inc. Market research revealed that the circumstances in regard to this requirement have not changed. Kirila Fire is the original manufacturer of the current system and possesses the requisite knowledge and experience of its design and performance characteristics.

To ensure the integrity of the training facility, the original equipment manufacturer must perform all modifications according to TO 35E1-2-13-1. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 811310 and the size standard is $12.5 million. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. No solicitation document is available for this requirement.

The U.S. government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Notice.
