The Defense Health Agency Southeastern Healthcare Operations Contracting Division intends to negotiate on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 13.106-l(b)(I) soliciting from a single source. The proposed manufacturer is E3 Diagnostics dba e3 Med-Acoustics, Inc. who is the exclusive factory authorized service and calibration facility in the State of Florida for Grason-Stadler, lnteracoustics, Audioscan, Maico, Micromedical, Med-Rx, Vivosonic instrumentation.
NH Jacksonvlle has a requirement for a non-personal services contract to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Government-owned Audiology and Hearing Testing Equipment Preventive Maintenance Service. There are not set-aside restrictions for this requirement.
The intended procurement will be classified under North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811210. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the required services, to include permission from the manufacturer.
All capability statements received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
