EDAC Systems Inc. (EDAC) - Intent to Sole Source

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed-price contract to?EDAC Systems, Inc., Address: 10970 Pierson Drive, Fredericksburg, VA 22408?for the annual repair and maintenance of the existing FBI BancTec Scanner equipment in support of The Information Management Division (IMD), Information Services Section (ISS), Document Conversion Laboratory (DocLab).

EDAC Systems Inc. (EDAC) is the only ibml value-added reseller authorized by ibml to support the FBI DocLabs, therefore, EDAC Systems Inc., is the Sole Source capable of fulfilling the requirements of the FBI. This notice will be distributed solely through the U.S. General Services Administration’s SAM.gov website (www.sam.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the sam.gov website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.

The North American Classification System Code is 811210, Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding of Equipment: Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(b)(1). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement and quotation to the attention of:
