Intent to Sole Source to Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Inc

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Pinon Health Center, intends to award a non-competitive, sole source purchase order to Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Inc, for reagents, controls, calibrations and consumables for Sysmex CA-620 Coagulation analyzer. Auhtority cited FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(ii) only this source can furnish the requirments, to the exclusion of other sources, because the vendor is the only distributor of pouches.

The proposed contractor shall provide reagents, controls, calibrations, and consumables for the Pinon Health Center for fiscal year of 2024, period of performance 05/01/2024 - 12/31/2024. The proposed contractor is the only organization uniquely qualified to provide the required reagents, controls, calibrations and consumables to ensure that there is no interruption in services that could impact direct patient care. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals.

There will be no solicitation available for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Any response to this notice must show clear and convicing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Governement. Respondents are advised that the Governement is under no obligations to acknowledge recipt of the information submitted. If no affirmative written response is recieved by May 08, 2024 5:00 PM MST, the contact will be issued without further notice.
