Body Plethysmograph

Notice of Intent for Sole Source. The Medical Readiness Contracting Office (MRCO) – East, intends to issue an award solely to MGC Diagnostics Corporation, 350 Oak Grove Parkway, St. Paul, Minnesota 55127. The procurement is for 1 EA Platinum Elite DX RTD, Body Plethysmograph. The NAICS code of this procurement is 33912 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. This procurement is to support the McDonald Army Health Center (MCAHC), Fort Eustis, VA.

The Body Plethysmograph Breeze software is produced and supplied solely by MGC Diagnostic Platinum. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a)(1)(ii), sole source (including brand name) under the authority of simplified procedures for certain commercial items.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Please see the attached Sole Source Determination. Responses are due no later three days after issue of the solicitation .

The government intends to award a contract on or around 15 August 2024.
