The US Army Research Laboratory requires the purchase of Qty one (1) Custom Gaven Industries High-Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse Container. Extended description of requirements as follows:
Qty one (1) NRE – Custom Equipment Cabinet. Extended description as follows:
Insulated with approx. outside dimensions of 36”Wx36”Dx86”H. Treated with corrosion resistant coatings. One (1) traditional HEMP hardened compartment, compartment A. One (1) HEMP hardened SPV compartment, compartment B. Two (2) access doors, one for each compartment, located at the front of the cabinet. Mounting provisions (i.e. rack posts, etc) for GFGI UHF and HF radio equipment. Mounting to be arranged in typical 19” 4-point rack post configuration.
No less than 24U of space will be provided for the Government Furnished Government Installed (GFGI) equipment, split between the two compartments. Power Distribution Unit to support HVAC equipment and MEE equipment loads (3 circuits). HVAC Unit and Ventilation Fans Waveguide Below Cutoff (WBC) for fiber-optic cabling passthrough. HEMP hardened electrical POE for primary power into compartment A. HEMP hardened POEs for two (2) UHF interfaces, 225-400 MHz, 100W.
HEMP hardened electrical POE for power out of compartment A, to compartment B. HEMP hardened POEs for two (2) interfaces from HF radios to HF amplifiers, 3-30MHz, 10W. HEMP hardened POEs for two (2) HF interfaces, 3-30MHz, 400W. Mounting pads at bottom of cabinet for securing to concrete slab. The cabinet’s production will be preceded by a drawing package for client review/approval. Qty one (1) 1st Article, Cabinet Build/Test Shipping and Handling of all items to the Destination
