Fort Meade Sky Watch CCTV

The United States Army Installation at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland is soliciting services for the installation of a replacement stand-alone, closed-circuit television (CCTV) system for the FLIR Skywatch system located on the Installation. This is a non-personal services contract to provide installation for a CCTV system. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein.

Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. A Closed-Circuit Television System provides early warning of an intruder; and prevents the introduction of harmful devices, materiel, and components.

If vulnerable activities are not protected by IDS; Access Control Points, Arms Rooms, and SCIFs would have to provide armed guards for their areas, MEVAs would be unprotected, and money handling activities would see an increase in theft and vandalism.
