The 410th Contract Support Brigade - Regional Contracting Office (RCO) Miami and United States Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) has a sole source requirement to procure a contract for Center for Southeast Tropical Advanced Remote Sensing (CSTARS) is an imaging ground station operated by the University of Miami. It processes electro-optical and synthetic aperture radar imaging data globally.

CSTARS supports the U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) by providing critical worldwide data access to international commercial synthetic aperture radar (COMSAR) imagery, along with other forms of commercial imagery and spatial data. It also provides worldwide data access to international commercial synthetic aperture radar imagery for advanced geospatial remote sensing analytics and services to support critical issues such as C-TCO operations, ESA activity, and humanitarian assistance and disaster response. These services are readily shared with the US Government Agencies and partner nations to support mission requirements.
