Sustainment Management System (SMS) Assembly Development

Amendment 0002: THIS AMENDMENT SERVES TO INFORM ALL POTENTIAL OFFERORS OF NECESSARY REVISIONS TO THE PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS) FOR SUSTAINMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (SMS) ASSEMBLY DEVELOPMENT SERVICE REQUIREMENT, AS A DIRECT RESULT OF QUESTIONS RECEIVED DURING THE SOLICITATION PERIOD. A THOROUGH REVIEW OF SUBMITTED QUESTIONS REVEALED AREAS REQUIRING FURTHER CLARIFICATION TO ACCURATELY REFLECT THE GOVERNMENT'S REQUIREMENTS AND INTENDED OUTCOMES. THEREFORE, THE PWS HAS BEEN UPDATED AT THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS: SUBPARAGRAPHS 2.3, 3.2.9, 3.4.D, 3.6.1, ADDENDUM TO EVALUATION - CONTINUATION OF FAR 52.212-2 - EVALUATION CONFIDENCE RATING(S) TABLE, AND THE PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE HAS BEEN EXTENDED.

Amendment 0001: THIS AMENDMENT IS ISSUED TO PROVIDE A REVISED APPENDIX A OF THE PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS). THE REVISIONS ADDRESS IDENTIFIED ERRORS AND ENSURE COMPLETENESS OF INFORMATION, IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR) 15.206, "AMENDING THE SOLICITATION". SPECIFICALLY, THE GOVERNMENT IS AUTHORIZED TO AMEND SOLICITATIONS TO CORRECT DISCOVERED DEFICIENCIES OR TO PROVIDE CLARIFYING INFORMATION TO POTENTIAL OFFERORS.

The purpose of this contract is for services inclusive of all labor and supervision necessary to use the Government's Micro-Computer Aided Cost Estimating System 2nd Generation (MII) cost estimating software application to develop 4,202 (from scratch) project item assemblies associated with each asset component replacement action. These assemblies will be built from construction tasks in the MII Cost Book (or with custom-built user items developed by the contractor when necessary). Reference the solicitation and appendices for greater detail.
