The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Louisville District (LRL), has a continuing requirement for Nationwide Monitoring of the fire Alarm and Mass Notification Systems. The Government intends to fulfill this requirement through the use of a Sole Source Task Order to Johnson Controls Fire Protection LP.

Scope of Work to be awarded: To provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform the required monitoring of the fire alarm and mass notification systems in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association. This work shall include, but not be limited to, reprogramming of fire alarm and mass notification panels, installation of Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitters (DACT) at specified locations, and monitoring of the fire alarm and mass notification systems.

This work is being awarded as a follow-on task order for services that Johnson Controls Fire Protection LP currently provide under contract. This notice of intent is not considered a request for quotations or competitive proposals. This is a written notice to inform the public of the Government’s intent to proceed with a sole source award to Johnson Controls Fire Protection LP. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the direction of the Government. Information received in response to this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should be emailed to the Government point of contact for this acquisition at alex.j.hamilton@usace.army.mil no later than 24 April at 12:00 PM Eastern Time (ET). Responses should include:

1) Company name, address, Unique Identifier Number, and point of contact name of email address.

2) Identify business size (i.e. small business, other than small business, etc.) in accordance with the size standard for NAICS Code 561621.

3) Detailed information that will demonstrate that your business has the capability to provide above services.
