FTC DB2B Fire Station

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE SPECIAL NOTICE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District (USACE) will be soliciting proposals for PHASE II of the Design-Build-to-Budget (DB2B) Construction of the FTC Fire Station located in in Fort Campbell, KY. As part of the construction contract solicitation, USACE intends to include the following sole source requirements: WATER UTILITIES – Water and sewer CONNECTION FEE is to be paid by Jacobs to provide permanent utility services to the facility.

The fees are based on discussions with the utility providers and guidance regarding service, size and number of the connections and value of the work. GAS UTILITIES – Gas CONNECTION FEE is to be paid by Clarksville Gas to provide permanent utility services to the facility. The fees are based on discussions with the utility providers and guidance regarding service, size and number of the connections and value of the work.

POWER/LIGHTING UTILITIES - Electrical CONNECTION FEE is to be paid by City Light and Power to provide permanent utility services to the facility.

The fees are based on discussions with the utility providers and guidance regarding service, size and number of the connections and value of the work. *This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice.

All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirements described herein. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 12:00 PM ET on 23 February 2024 to stephanie.n.drees@usace.army.mil.
