Notice of Intent (NOI) to Sole Source - Design-Build Construction of a Network Enterprise Center (NEC) in Fort Hunter Liggett (FHL), CA

SPECIAL NOTICE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Louisville District will be soliciting proposals for the new construction of a Network Enterprise Center (NEC) on Fort Hunter Liggett (FHL), CA. The NEC will be a standard design information systems facility, organizational vehicle parking, open storage area and building information systems.

As part of the construction contract, USACE intends to include the following sole source requirement: Brand Name Sole Source – The door lock hardware required for use on the FHL NEC construction project are produced by Schlage. Schlage hardware, cores and cylinders are used exclusively in buildings throughout Fort Hunter Liggett. It is the only brand used throughout the installation. Fort Hunter Liggett’s Operation and Maintenance office is equipped and tooled to install and repair only Schlage hardware and cores.

This is NOT a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice. All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirement described herein.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time on 14 July 2024 to Bonny.C.Dylewski@usace.army.mil.
