Project Description: Design and construct approximately 8,605 SF of an addition onto the current HC-130J simulator facility for a Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) simulator. Construct the CRH simulator facility with large open bay; reinforced concrete foundation; concrete slab; structural steel frame, standing seam metal roof; and split faced block.

Includes electrical, mechanical, site improvements, landscaping with landscape establishment irrigation, pavements, parking, walkways, utilities, fire detection/ protection, communications, and all necessary supporting facilities for a complete and usable facility. Facilities will be designed as permanent construction in accordance with the Department of Defense Unified Facilities Criteria 1-200-01.

This project will comply with Department of Defense antiterrorism/force protection requirements per Unified Facility Criteria 4-010-01. Sound attenuation throughout the facility is also an important element to address during the design. The original building was constructed in 2013. Site Visit: An organized site visit has been scheduled for July 13th, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. Information is required to be received at least five (5) business days prior to the site visit for the individual to be added to the guest list. Please see Section 00 21 16 for further information.
