WSD Fish Hatchery Freezer Repair and Rental

The Contractor shall furnish all supplies, equipment, qualified personnel, services required, and other resources as needed to replace the evaporator fans and compressor on the 884 square foot built-in walk-in freezer, located at the Don Clausen Fish Hatchery. The Contractor shall also provide a stand alone freezer for use until the main freezer is repaired. Work has been separated into two items: Repair of the freezer unit and rental of an auxiliary stand alone freezer.

Repair of the freezer includes the demolition and removal of the old evaporator fan coil units (2) and the compressor, and the installation of new evaporator fan coil units (2) and compressor. The existing compressor is obsolete and utilizes obsolete refrigerant. New piping and electrical is required to connect to the existing utilities. System charging and operational testing are required to ensure there are no leaks, and system maintains operator set points.
