Request for Information: The Government is issuing this Request for Information to determine a competitive basis for the procurement described. This is not a solicitation. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this survey. This survey is for market research purposes only. Only contractors capable of performing this type of work should respond to this Request for Information.
Requirement: Contractor shall furnish materials, labor, and equipment to supply and install a permanent horizontal lifeline system at Old Hickory Powerhouse Project along the sides of the 275 ton bridge crane. Product shall be the Xenon fall protection system as manufactured by Miller / Honeywell Safety or approved equal. The system includes, but not be limited to, D-bolt anchors, shock absorbers, swageless cable fittings, intermediate support brackets, cable clips, thimble, anchor shackle, and fasteners. *Please note this description is subject to change.
