Computational Chemistry

SOURCES SOUGHT: This is a Sources Sought Synopsis in support of Market Research being conducted by the US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) to identify potential sources. This is not a a Solicitation Announcement, nor is it a Request for Proposal. This request does not obligate the Government to any contract award. The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) is issuing this Sources Sought announcement for Computational Chemistry to determine interest, availability and capability of businesses to supply the services as described below:

Contractor personnel shall utilize state of the science computational techniques to predict the environmental fate and impact of contaminants and degradation products of other material related to army and non-army projects for the Computational Chemistry Team. The Contractor shall validate, develop, run, and evaluate programs and reports for computational chemistry; use classical and quantum mechanical-based approaches; research and identify relevant scientific literature; and develop, document computational methods for the Computational Chemistry Team on Projects related to “Structures, properties and interactions of molecular/material systems”.

Place of Performance: This work will be performed at ERDC, Vicksburg, Mississippi 39180 NAICS: 541715 Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnoloty) (Size Standard of 1,000 employees)

SUBMISSION: All interested companies with 541715 as an approved NAICS code have until June 13, 2025 at 1:00 PM CST to submit the following:

Name and Address of your Firm Point of Contact (name/phone/email) UEI/Cage Code Business Size, to include designation as HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman-Owned Business, and large business. The Government must be able to verify SBA certification of Hubzone, 8(a) and SDB via SAM.
