Sole Source HBK supplies and services for Tescia and BK Connect software

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i)) with Hottinger Bruel & Kjaer, Inc., 19 Bartlett Street, Marlborough, Massachusetts 01752-0314, for supplies and services for annual licenses of Tescia and BK Connect software. This contract will support the ongoing research which utilizes the government owned HBK Analyzers used to collect data in the laboratory and field.

The minimum needs for this contract are to provide supplies and services that are compatible with government owned analyzers. The contractor must provide software subscriptions for Tescia and BK connect with annual renewals. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 513210 – Software Publishers with a Small Business Size Standard of $47,000,000.00.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including price, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same or similar product. All capability statements received by the closing date of the publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.

A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
