Fire/Soot Damage Evaluation for AKTA Avant Model 25

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)) with CenMed Enterprises, LLC. 121 Jersey Ave, New Brunswick, New Jersey 08901-3275 for fire/soot damage evaluation and repair of the ERDC’s AKTA Avant Model 25. The minimum needs for this service contract are to provide a fire/soot damage evaluation of the AKTA Avant Model 25. Due to the fire/soot damage, this contract for damage assessment is required.

Additionally, an option is being included in this contract action to cover OEM parts, consumables, components and labor for repair of the identified damage by a Cytiva Life Sciences certified technician. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811210–Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a Small Business Size Standard of $34 Million.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit capable proposal, excluding price, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same or similar service. All capability statements received by the closing date of the publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.

A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
