Service Contract for Phenom Pro XL

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC) Contracting Office located at 3909 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg, MS 39180-6199 intends to issue an award on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)) to Nanoscience Instruments Inc., 10008 S 51ST Street STE 110, Phoenix, Arizona 85044 for the procurement of diagnosis and repair services.

This service contract will ensure all instrument warranties will not be voided and the continuance of mission critical sample analysis. The minimum needs for this service contract The contractor shall provide diagnostic and repair services for the Phenom Pro XL (serial number MVE032051675). Diagnostic services will include a full a complete checkout of the system to determine all necessary repairs. The contractor shall provide a complete report with diagnosis of issues and required repairs.

The contractor shall provide all materials and instructions necessary for shipping the equipment to the diagnostic center. Additionally, the contractor shall insure the package for full replacement costs in the event that the package becomes damaged or lost. These services shall be performed by a NanoScience certified technician. All parts replaced must be replaced with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts.

Instrument warranties must be maintained on the instrumentation, and the manufactures warranty requires any diagnosis or repair must be completed by a certified Nanoscience Instruments technician. This instrument plays a crucial role in the team’s ability to meet data deliverables. To complete ongoing research, the diagnosis and repair of the system is required to restore full operation of the equipment.

The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811210 – Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same or similar supply.

All capability statements received by the closing date of this publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
