The Environmental Laboratory (EL) is recognized worldwide as the problem solver in environmental science and engineering research for US Army, the Department of Defense, and the Nation. R&D activities address a multitude of environmental issues to advance civil works, water resources, military installations, and the warfighter.
Research activities include ecosystem restoration, ecological resources, and contaminant management, risk and decision science, environmental sensing, ecological modeling and forecasting, environmental security, and environmentally sustainable material. ERDC Environmental Laboratory, Environmental Engineering Aquatic Ecology and Invasive Species Branch, requires a custom boat. The EL requirement is to obtain a custom boat to access field research sites in support of ongoing research efforts.
The new boat must be available for pick up or delivery to Vicksburg, MS. The boat must meet the following conditions: 20’ length 96” beam 30” sides 3/16” Hull and Side gauge aluminum 3/16” Threadplate deck and 1/8” floor Vee Bottom Angle welded on hull bottom Center console Box seat behind console with dry storage Push-bumpers 3” rubrail top gunnels Front Deck 46” Flotation in deck and floor Motor cage around engine 4-Lifting eyes Splashwell Anode 1-Fuel tank 18 gallons plastic Hydraulic steering single Teleflex, stainless steel steering wheel Navigation Lights Electric control panel 6-rocker, heat shrink wiring 1/1-Battery/Case, 1-battery selector switch 1-Bilge pump 1100 1-12 volt receptacle 1-Fuel Filter 150 HP Yamaha, 4-stroke, control mount, key switch, wiring harness, tach gauge, stainless steel propeller Aluminum tandem trailer with brakes on one axle, spare tire without mount, 6,000# capacity Delivery Location: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers ERDC 3909 Halls Ferry Rd Vicksburg, MS 39180
