Description

As published on SAM.gov with the combined synopsis and solicitation of August 19, 2024.

1. SCOPE The contractor shall supply and deliver one skid-steer loader, to Lock and Dam 2 in Hastings, MN.

2. NEEDS DESCRIPTION The skid-steer will be used for a variety of tasks at the project site. Skid-steer will provide: Transporting pallets loaded with heavy-loaded sand-bags. Snow-plowing a large parking area and roadway. Lifting large timbers/raw materials around the site. Lifting and placing heavy objects out of delivery trucks. The bucket, forks, and snow plow will be primary attachments, as well as a jib hoist and sweeper attachment.

(Attachments are not needed in this RFQ) 3. SPECIFICATIONS The skid-steer loader shall meet or exceed the following requirements: -New less then 10hours Diesel Engine with at least 68 horsepower or more.

Liquid Cooled Engine Minimum operating capacity: 2000 lbs Minimum tipping load: 4000 lbs Must have hydraulic flow of 17.1 gal/min Must have hydraulic pressure of at least 3500 Psi Must be a wheeled unit, no tracks Maximum width over tires: 68 inches Lift arm support for arms while in raised position Horn Backup alarm Lights: front, rear, and dome Instrumentation: Hour meter, Engine Temperature and Fuel Gages, Warning Lights Operator Cab shall include electrical power port, top and rear windows, rear view mirror, parking brake, seat bar, and belt Joystick controls Engine/Hydraulic systems shutdown Hydraulic quick coupler Enclosed Roll Over Protective Structure (ROPS) cab Falling Object Protective Structure (FOPS) Air Conditioning, Heater, and defroster Debris barrier Cab door with wiper/washer Side windows Suspension seat High flow hydraulics Power quick tach Manufacturer’s standard industry warranty 4. TRADE-IN The contractor will accept trade-in of one Bobcat 743B skid-steer loader with 2001.8 HRs, located at Lock and Dam 2 in Hasting, MN.

The skid-steer does not include a bucket or any attachments for the trade-in. The Point of Contact for inspecting the Bobcat is Steve Heidbrider 651-235-1816. The value of the trade-in will be entered separately in the quote, but the evaluation of quotes will be made using the total price. 5. DELIVERY DUE DATE Delivery shall be made no later than 6-Sept-2024. 6. SHIPMENT The bid price shall include the cost of transporting and unloading to the destination site.

Shipment shall be prepaid and made at the Contractor's expense. Please do not quote shipping or delivery charges separately. Please see attached solicitation for additional information.
