THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATION OR BID, NOR A SYNOPSIS OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION UNDER FAR SUBPART 5.2. U.S Army Corps of Engineers Rock Island District Purchase Description New Concrete Laser Screed with the following:
Minimum of 24 horsepower diesel engine 18ft boom length 12ft vibrator Self-leveling head system 24 inches of head shift range Rotating head for transportation Four-wheel drive Tilt assist head Crab walk mode Soft landing feature Compatible with a 3-D profiler system Maximum tire width of six foot two inches Remote controlled Toolbox Pressure washer kit Operator platform Spare parts kit Spray system Two 16-gallon fluid storage tanks Provide training for four people Lifting points Provide at least a one-year warranty 3-D Profiler System Included tablet, with machine mount Included total station Compatible with supplied Laser Screed Provide training for four people 1/1 arc second of accuracy Survey and screed targets Included software to be jobsite ready Tripod / grade rod assembly Provide at least a one-year warranty Contractor Point of Contract (POC) shall make contact and schedule delivery with Government POC no later than seven calendar days after award.
Contractor shall have new Concrete Laser Screed and 3-D Profiler System delivered to delivery address no later than six weeks after award. USACE will be able to off load all equipment at the time of delivery. Price includes the cost of delivery. The contractor shall provide and/or furnish all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, material, supervision, and other items necessary to supply the requirement.
This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or make a contract award. NO AWARD will be made from this Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a request for proposal, quote or invitation for bid. The sole purpose of this notice is to identify potential System for Award Management (SAM) Database registered businesses that are interested and capable of providing this piece of equipment.
Submission Instructions: Responses to this Sources Sought notice must be submitted electronically (via email) to:
Contract Specialist, Joseph Porter, at joseph.e.porter@usace.army.mil no later than 10:00 am central time, July 6, 2024. All interested, responsive, and responsible SAM.gov registered businesses are encouraged to participate in this sources sought by emailing the required information below to the point of contact listed above. If you are not SAM registered, please do so at www.sam.gov.
Interested businesses shall include the following information to be considered for this Sources Sought announcement: 1. Company name, address, point of contact, phone number/email address and CAGE Code 2. Company’s interest if a solicitation for this project is issued? 3. Company’s business category and size? 4. Company’s capability to supply the outlined piece of equipment and lead time. Disclaimer and Important Notes. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract.
No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought or any follow up information. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work.
Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or to provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses a solicitation may be published in SAM.gov. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. A listing of respondents will be posted to the SAM.gov after the Sources Sought period closes.
