NWW HQ Elevator Maintenance Services

Notice of Intent to Sole Source for NWW HQ Elevator Maintenance Services In accordance with FAR 19.1506(b), Women-Owned Small Business Program sole-source awards, the U.S Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Walla Walla District, is issuing this special notice to inform industry of the intent to solicit on a sole source basis to Vertical Options for NWW HQ Elevator Maintenance Services.

This is the Government’s second attempt at awarding a base plus two contract for HQ Elevator Maintenance Services, the previous contract was terminated. The previous action was solicited IAW FAR 19.502-2(a) - Total small business set-asides. FAR 19.1506(b)(1) states the Government SHALL consider an award to a WOSB on a sole source basis before considering a total small business set aside.

Based on the quotes received from Contract No. W912EF25C0003 and market research, the Contracting Officer does not have a reasonable expectation that offers would be received from two or more WOSB concerns (FAR 19.1506 (b) (2)). As such, the Government plans to resolicit and sole source IAW FAR 19.1506 –to Vertical Options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 561210, Facilities Support Services.

This notice of intent is not a formal solicitation or request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and requests for such a document will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.

Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in writing to Victoria.l.conway@usace.army.mil no later than 9:00 AM PST on December 16, 2024. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for future requirements.
