The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District is seeking manufacturers pertaining to domestic hot water (DHW) CO2 heat-pump system components for a new firm-fixed price (FFP) construction contract titled Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing (UEPH) Barracks at Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM), Washington. Products/systems must comply with FAR provision 52.225-12 and FAR clause 52.225-11 as referenced below. Applicable NAICS are:
238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors 423720 Plumbing \ Heating Equipment and Supplies (Hydronics)
Merchant Wholesalers GENERAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: The identified brand/manufacturer named items are intended to indicate basis of design for the DHW CO2 Heat-Pump system. The attached specifications identify the salient characteristics of the items required, identify each manufacturer/brand name items, or approved equal.
BUY AMERICAN STATUTE REQUIREMENTS: The domestic hot water (DHW) CO2 heat-ump system must comply with Provision 52.225-12. Notice of Buy American Requirement-Construction Materials Under Trade Agreements, and Clause 52.225-11, Buy American-Construction Materials under Trade Agreements.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Manufacturers and/or suppliers responding to this announcement shall verify that the products/systems satisfy the general requirements indicated in the attach specifications. A catalog cut of the items with technical specification demonstrating compliance are requested to be included with the response. In addition, please provide cost and place (State(s)) of manufacture for each item. Responses should be submitted to the indicated point of contact with company name, address, and point of contact including phone number and email address. Request responses be provided no later than 1:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) 20 August 2024.
