Perry Point Community Living Center Construction – Industry Day

The US ARMY CORPS of ENGINEERS (USACE), Baltimore District, in partnership with the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) – Construction Facilities Management, will host an Industry Day on Wednesday, 20 November 2024, at the Theater in Building 314 located on the Perry Point VA Medical Center Campus from 0800-1600 ET. Industry Day will begin with a morning site tour and presentation followed by a Q&A session. Beginning at 1300, One-on-One interviews will be conducted on-site.

To confirm your attendance for the morning session please RSVP via email with a list of individuals from your firm that will be in attendance to Contract Specialist Erica Stiner (Erica.J.Stiner@usace.army.mil). Please cc Contracting Officer Kristi Sutherland (Kristi.D.Sutherland@usace.army.mil) and Project Manager Candace Bradford (Candace.L.Bradford@usace.army.mil) on the RSVP correspondences. All RSVP’s must be sent no later than 5:00 pm ET on 12 November 2024; pre-registration is required.

Parking is available in Lot S (see attached map). The one-on-One interviews to be conducted following the morning Q&A session are restricted to General Construction Contractors with a minimum bonding capacity of $250 million. To participate in a One-on-One interview, pre-register by stating your interest in your RSVP email and the number of attendees for the interview. Your timeslot will be confirmed by USACE prior to Industry Day.

The project is being presented to receive feedback on the Construction Acquisition Method for the design and construction of a Community Living Center on the campus of the Perry Point VA Medical Center. This project is a 96-bed Community Living Center to include resident houses with private rooms and baths, as well as medical and community amenities and parking. The presentation slides are attached. Advertisement of the project is anticipated in Fiscal Year 2027.
