Nextseq 1000 Extended Warranty

The U.S. Army, 413th Contracting Support Brigade, Regional Contracting Office - Hawaii (RCO-HI) intends to award a firm fixed price single-source contract to Illumina, Inc. The proposed contract is in support of Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii for the purchase a 5-year Silver Support Plan to support the NextSeq 1000 Sequencing System to support their mission at the Department of Clinical Investigation. that already exist Illumina, Inc. the manufacturer of this device and uniquely suited to provide all the required support this plan offers.

Award will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 (iii), the procedures at FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and the procedures at FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purpose of this notice is to satisfy the requirements of FAR subpart 5.2. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all responsible parties may submit a quotation by the closing date of this announcement which shall be considered by the agency.

A solicitation may be provided by written request. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code – 334516 Laboratory Equipment and Supplies with a size standard of 1,000 employees applies to this announcement.
