Ebbing Field 3-Bay Hangar Fort Smith Arkansas - Notice of Intent Brand Name - McElroy Metal “Patrician Bronze” color metal roof

In accordance with Section 888(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2017 (FY17) (Public Law 114-328) as implemented by Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 206.302-1(c)(2), the justification and approval (J&A) addressed in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.303 is required to use brand name or equal descriptions for McElroy Metal “Patrician Bronze” color metal roof in the firm-fixed price construction contract for the F-35 3-Bay Hangar, Ebbing Air National Guard Base, Fort Smith, AR.

Manufacturer and product names are identified solely to provide a basis for the color of the respective finishes. Establishing the standing seam metal roof color will provide base and campus wide consistency. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 10:00AM Central Daylight Time on 3 June 2025 to brian.j.welch@usace.army.mil and Jon.A.Larvick@usace.army.mil.
