Yaquina MTU Parts for Top End Maintenance

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W9127N24Q0116 for procurement of parts for the MTU 8V4000 (Main Engines), MTU 12V2000 (Generator and Dredge Engines), and Series 60 (Bow Thruster Engine) aboard the Dredge Yaquina.

Delivery to the dredge Yaquina at 8010 NW St. Helens Road, Portland, OR 97210 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). All parts shall be genuine MTU parts from an authorized dealer. The following solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-06 effective 4 December 2023. This solicitation is advertised as a total small business set-aside under NAICS Code 333618, Other Engine Equipment Manufacturing with a size standard of 1,500 employees.

All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to be eligible for award. Lack of SAM registration will make an offeror ineligible for award. The government requests quotes for the following parts for the MTU 8V4000 (Main Engines), MTU 12V2000 (Generator and Dredge Engines), and Series 60 (Bow Thruster Engine) aboard the Dredge Yaquina.

Upon award, the Contractor shall provide transportation for the cores listed above to be shipped from USACE to the Contractors facility for core credit. All parts shall be genuine MTU parts from an authorized dealer. *Prices shall include any applicable taxes, fees, and delivery charges.
