Market Research and Sources Sought Notice for information on capability and availability of potential contractors interested in proposing on a Firm Fixed Price Contract to Provide 300 Grills and 100 Fire Rings for the Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway Parks in Columbus, MS. The minimum technical specifications of the Grills and Fire Rings are:

Specifications for Grills and Fire Rings Standard Grills Each grill shall be constructed from a minimum of 7-gauge, 3/16-inch-thick steel and coated with high-temperature, non-toxic black enamel paint. Grills shall be designed to rotate 360 degrees on a theft-proof swivel attachment, compatible with a minimum 3.5-inch outside diameter (OD) post. The grills shall be of welded construction, utilizing a continuous weld.

Grill grates shall be adjustable and constructed from a minimum of 0.5-inch diameter bars, with attached handles made from a minimum of 5/8-inch diameter steel. Each grill shall come with a coated (painted or galvanized) post, minimum 42 inches long, compatible with the above specifications. The minimum cooking surface area shall be 300 square inches.

Fire Rings Dimensions: Minimum 30-inch diameter, not to exceed 32 inches, and minimum 8 inches high, not to exceed 10 inches. Each fire ring shall be constructed from a minimum of 3/16-inch thick steel, with a continuous design. No grate is required.
