Joint Industry Day for Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA)

The US ARMY CORPS of ENGINEERS (USACE), Fort Worth District in partnership with the 802nd Civil Engineering Squadron (CES) will host a Joint Industry Day for Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), on 29 MAY 2024 from 0800 to 1600, at the Fort Sam Houston Golf Course Clubhouse. Base Access is NOT required to attend.

USACE and the 802nd will cover planning, design and construction projects coming up at all the installations that comprise JBSA, to include but not limited to Randolph Air Force Base, Lackland Air Force Base and Fort Sam Houston. The Morning Session will cover various topics related to projects and programs to be executed over the next 5-15 years. A General Discussion and a Question & Answer period will follow the morning presentations before a break for lunch.

Please note: Only light refreshments and snacks will be available for purchase through the Golf Course Clubhouse. Lunch options are available off-site. The Afternoon Session will include Updates in Contracting and Small Business and a Focus on Other Transactional Authority (OTA), which will include a review of the Medical Education & Training Campus (METC) Dorm #1 Solicitation Draft Documents. For those interested in the METC Site Visit at 1600 following the afternoon session, Base Access Passes required.

The focus of the afternoon session on 29 MAY 2024, will concentrate on the Other Transaction Authority (OTA) and an open discussion between the Government and those from Industry in attendance.
