Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Weather Balloons

Sole Source Intent: The United States Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command – Yuma Proving Ground (MICC-YPG), the Meteorology Division located at U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to award a noncompetitive Firm-Fixed-Price contract with Kaymont Consolidated Industries, Inc. 1477 Guava Ave Melbourne, FL 32935 for a 5 Year IDIQ contract consisting of:

Totex 150 Gram Weather Balloon QTY: 18,750 EA Totex 350 Gram Weather Balloon QTY: 1,000 EA Totex 1,000 Gram Weather Balloon QTY: 250 EA Kaymont Consolidated Industries, Inc. has the knowledge, experience, and capability to supply the required items. Related SAM.gov notice PANMCC240000010501. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm’s technical capability to meet these requirements by 29 July 2024 11:00 AM Mountain Standard Time (MST).
