THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS in accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(15). In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive Quotes. However, all interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement.
Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. ACC-RSA will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. The Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC), Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, has a sole source requirement for a Siemens/FEMAP for the Technology Development Directorate (TDD).
This is a Sole Source with Paydarfar Industries, Inc. dba Saratech in accordance with FAR 6.302-1). Paydarfar Industries, Inc. dba Saratech is the only source capable Siemens/FEMAP- The only source that has expressed interest in the acquisition is Paydarfar Industries, Inc. dba Saratech, which is a certified Siemens Digital Industries Software distributor for the FEMAP software.
The FEMAP software has several unique features in the way it enables the analyst to construct the mesh-centric finite element model (pre-processing), the way it supports advanced analytical solutions (nonlinear transient fully coupled thermo-structural analysis), and the way it assists in the timely assessment of analysis results (post-processing).
The required software is necessary to allow for the creation of efficient finite element models that maintain numerical accuracy while simultaneously minimizing required solution time and hardware. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This item utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 513210. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the Government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis. Phone calls will not be accepted.
