THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS in accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(15). In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive Quotes. However, all interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement.

Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. ACC-RSA will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. The Prototype Integration Facility (PIF) of Redstone Arsenal, AL, has a requirement to purchase a quantity of fifteen hundred and seventy-five (1,575) of 4 different circuit board assemblies. Three of the assemblies also require set-up cost.

This is in support of The Common Aircraft Portable Reprogramming Equipment (CAPRE) program. This is a Sole Source with Advanced Assembly, LLC. in accordance with FAR 6.302-1). Advanced Assembly is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the circuit board assemblies and able to provide all 1,575 assemblies within the aggressive USAF schedule. Advanced Assembly built ten (10) initial assemblies for the customer confirming performance with the CAPRE system. No third-party vendors are available at this time.

This circuit board is unique as outlined in subparagraph in 6.302-1(a)(2)(i)(A). This item utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 334418. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the Government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis. Phone calls will not be accepted.
