COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.

Solicitation number W9124D26QA249 2-Way Canopy Formation Skydiving Instructor is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) for the United States Army Parachute Team (USAPT) who requires a dedicated professional 2-Way Canopy Formation Instructor to provide expertise in advanced canopy formation techniques that extend beyond standard civilian instruction or generalized canopy coaching.

These techniques include high-performance sequential Canopy Relative Work (CRW), large formation engineering, split-time management, wing-loading optimization, docking efficiency, formation flight-path control, and advanced build sequencing, as outlined in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). This acquisition is not set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference.

MICC-Ft Knox intends to award a contract on a sole-source basis, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.201-1, and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Class Deviation (DFARS CD) 2026-O0028, to Canopy Formation Specialists, Inc. to support USAPT. The anticipated award date is 11 June 2026, with a 11 June 2026 through 10 June 2027 base year period of performance and one 12-month option year.
